TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR

If your doctor is having you take LENVIMA, there are some things you need to talk to him/her about first:

Current medical conditions
Before you take LENVIMA, tell your doctor about all of your medical conditions, such as:

Herbal supplements, vitamins, and other medicines you’re taking
Tell your doctor about all prescriptions including osteoporosis medicines and over-the-counter vitamins, herbs, and herbal supplements you are taking, as they could interfere with how LENVIMA works or increase side effects as a result of taking them in combination with LENVIMA.

Write down a complete list of anything you’re currently taking to show to the doctor or pharmacist whenever you get a new medicine.

QUESTIONS FOR YOUR DOCTOR

Managing life with HCC when surgery is not an option can certainly be challenging. You are likely to have questions about your therapy. Your oncologist, along with all of your other doctors or specialists, is a great resource.

  • LENVIMA is used by itself as the first treatment for a type of liver cancer called hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) when it cannot be removed by surgery

Important Safety Information

LENVIMA may cause serious side effects, including:

  • high blood pressure (hypertension): High blood pressure is a common side effect of LENVIMA and can be serious. Your blood pressure should be well controlled before you start taking LENVIMA. Your healthcare provider should check your blood pressure regularly during treatment with LENVIMA. If you develop blood pressure problems, your healthcare provider may prescribe medicine to treat your high blood pressure
